About Sweet Pea's

Sharma Jeffries was an ambitious child who always had great teachers in school. She grew up appreciating the mark that her teachers left in her life year after year as she progressed through grade school. Naturally, she dreamed of one day becoming a teacher herself so that she could pour back into the community of the next generation the way her teachers did for her.

 

As she grew older and approached college age, Sharma decided to continue her education in Early Childhood Education. She strongly felt that children were limited in the school systems provided with exploring the different learning styles as most states tend to mandate certain teaching styles for state requirements & testing requirements. Sharma dove deep into her Early Childhood Education because she wanted to be the person who brought a new educational focus to the younger aged children. She wanted to be able to expose children to various styles of learning through music, art, and literature.

 

Sharma has always had a creative mind, so she knew that connecting with the younger population would not be a difficult task for her. While researching the educational and support needs for the younger generation, Sharma quickly learned that parents needed educational-based childcare that they could trust...and she provided the solution in Sweet Pea's Drop-In Day Care Center.
